Kojo Oppong Nkrumah the minister-designate has said that the first set of COVID 19 vaccines will arrive in Ghana today 22 February 2021.
Kojo revealed this in a comment at the conference and Donor Presentation for the sustainable Development Of Yendi Municipal Hospital last Sunday. He said
“though I have another engagement on our covid-19 vaccines that are arriving early Monday morning”
The Russian vaccine was approved by Ghana to be used in Ghana. The Health minister-designate, Kwaku Agyemang Manu has told Ghanaians to make themselves available for the vaccination against the virus.
When the vaccine arrives, vaccination will start in March 2021.
