The two powerhouses of Ghana dancehall music, Stonebwoy, and Shatta Wale were ban by Charterhouse the organizer of Ghana Music Awards for misconducts. The real issue for their ban is not new to anyone who follows ghonenews.com.
As musicians preparing for the upcoming Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA), it was in the news that the ban on Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy has been lifted. To confirm the news the Head of Public Events and Public Relation Officer (PRO) for Charthouse Robert Klah said on Hitz FM Daybreak said that “it was in principle decided that the ban should be lifted”
He also said that Charthouse will issue an official statement after Charthouse meets both part parties.
“There is a reason why this altercation happened and you want to be sure that they don’t resurface. You want to have that kind of conversion to understand and agree on how things should move” Robert Klah added
VGMA board has open nominations for this year’s VGMA wards and it will be closed on 15 February 2021. .
