A change refers to a process of becoming different or a replacement. In business transactions, the word change is often misconstrued for a balance. I was quite intrigued when I saw the above caption on the NDC Minority Caucus program. The mind-boggling question that arose was what change was the NDC referring to? I pondered over this until a bird whispered to me a change in political leadership I burst into uncontrollable laughter. The issue is does the NDC quest for the return of Mahama represent change? Ghanaians have already booted out Mahama through the unprecedented unparalleled unrivaled electoral annihilation.
If the NDC quest is indeed granted, which every politically awake Ghanaian is indubitably aware NANA ADDO has rendered Mahama politically irrelevant, does this suggest a change? Be that it may, the NDC describes Mahama as President Mahama whilst others describe him as former President. Ghanaians voted for only one President who is the visionary leader, NANA ADDO the name the NDC detests most simply because there is no avenue for them to plunder the state. Mahama is not the former president.
A substituted player cannot return to the field to play again due to the player’s inability to play to the coach’s technical direction. Mahama’s political weeds have engulfed Ghanaians. The savior, Nana Addo is doing the needful.
Mahama is kicked and booted out. Let the NDC decorate Mahama with the requisite titles. The NDC should be in constant touch with the learned Professor, Naana Opku on semantics.
