We are still reeling from the devastating escalation of John Mahama’s inner nature with respect to tribalism. The thing is, he has the penchant for preaching ethnocentrism but turns around to accuse others of indulging in such an objectionable act.
Not long ago, when soldiers were merely deployed to man our borders in the wake of the deadly coronavirus pandemic, John Mahama and his people were at their tribalistic best, accusing Akufo-Addo of deliberately suppressing votes in the Volta Region and hating Voltarians.
Despite the sound explanations offered by the Defense Ministry in relation to the accusations that only the Volta Region received the deployed soldiers. As if that was not enough, Mahama turns his attention to the good people of Akyem, describing them as mafias and sakawa people.
How a former President could be this disrespectful to the Akyem people is something that shocks Ghanaians. Such an uncouth behavior from someone seeking to lead Ghana once again is something discerning minds cannot unravel.
He hates the Akyem people with venom, hence this jejune, unwarranted, divisive, retrogressive, and repugnant reference to them. Why should someone with such a mindset against a group of Ghanaians be voted for? A tribalist as President is the last thing we need as our leader!
